TxDOT recommends the No Action Alternative on TTC-35

TxDOT announced on October 7 that the department hasrecommended the No Action Alternative to the Federal Highway Administration. This decision, a response to citizen comments during the environmental reviewof Trans Texas Corridor-35, will end efforts to develop the TTC- 35. Citizens livingalong the I-35 corridor spoke up in public meetings and hearings, pointing outtheir concerns regarding the corridor. Though the TTC-35 efforts have ended, congestionon I-35 remains an increasing problem in transportation that must be addressedby identifying and implementing congestion solutions.
