- Changing the membership of the Texas Transportation Commission to 15 elected members (HB 12 by Leibowitz)
- Changing the Commission membership to a single state-wide elected Transportation Commissioner (HB 565 by McClendon, HB 641 by Zerwas and HB 2701 by Dunnam)
- A companion bill to Senator Nichols' toll project primacy bill (SB 17) that passed the Senate Transportation Committee yesterday (HB 2929 by W. Smith)
